§ 15.16.070. Sign permit fees

  • A sign permit, along with actual dimensions, the specific logo, script, design, images, plus shop drawings, shall be required before the council shall approve all signs. This includes freestanding signs, roof signs, projecting signs, wall area signs, and digital signs. There shall be a permit fee and a location fee for each sign.

    The fee for the issuance of a sign permit is as follows:

    $1.00 to $1,000.00 $25.00
    $1,001.00 to $2,500.00  50.00
    $2,501.00 to $5,000.00  75.00
    $5,001.00 to $7,500.00 100.00
    $7,501.00 to $10,000.00 125.00
    $10,001.00 to $20,000.00 150.00
    $20,001.00 to $30,000.00 175.00
    $30,001.00 and over $25.00 per each $10,000.00

     

    The fee for the location of the sign is as follows:

    Location Fee Schedule

    On premise, wall area signs $ 5.00
    On premise, freestanding signs   5.00
    Off premise signs 100.00
    Temporary signs None

     

    If determined so by the council, permit fees shall be refundable. The refund amount will be less fifty dollars ($50.00) or fifty (50) percent of the original permit fee, whichever is greater.
