§ 8.12.050. Buildings declared public nuisances

Any building or addition to a building hereafter erected or constructed within the fire limits in violation of the terms thereof, are declared to be a public nuisance, and it shall be the duty of the chief of police to forthwith abate the same. The cost of abating such nuisance shall be collectable from the owner or the property and may be established as a lien on the real estate, building or material thereof.
