§ 6.08.060. Duty of owner

Every owner or harborer of a dog or cat shall attach the tag evidencing inoculation with anti-rabies vaccine to the collar or harness of the inoculated dog or cat at all times. The copy of the certificate shall be retained by the owner or harborer of the inoculated dog or cat for inspection by authorized representatives of the poundmaster. A cat inoculated shall either wear the tag showing vaccination or the owner retain the tag for inspection by any officer of the city.
