§ 6.04.070. Barking or howling animals

  • Animals that bark or howl excessively, whether during daylight or nighttime hours within the city limits are declared a nuisance. Upon complaint being registered with the law enforcement officer, the owner of the offending animal shall remove the animal from the corporate limits of the city or surrender the animal to the police authorities to be killed. Failure of the owner to so remove the offending animal shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and assessed a fine of up to one hundred dollars ($100.00).
