§ 6.04.040. City animal tags

Upon payment of the license fee, as set by the city council, the law enforcement officer shall issue to the owner a metallic tag for each animal so licensed. Every owner shall be required to provide each animal with a collar to which the license tag must be affixed and shall see that the collar and the tag are constantly worn. Animal tags shall not be transferable from one animal to another and no refunds shall be made on any animal license fee because of death of the animal or the owner's leaving the city before the expiration of the license period.
