§ 6.04.020. Licensing of animals

All animals kept, harbored or maintained in the city shall be licensed and registered if over six months of age. Animal licenses shall be issued by the finance officer upon payment of a fee in an amount to be established by the city council. The owner shall state at the time application is made for such license, upon such forms as the law enforcement officer may provide for such purpose, the owner's name and address, and the name, breed, age, color and sex of each animal owned or kept by him or her and present to the law enforcement officer record by a veterinarian that the animal has been vaccinated for rabies as provided hereafter.
