§ 3.04.020. Payment of warrants

Latest version.

All warrants shall be paid in the order in which they are presented out of the funds upon which they may be drawn and the finance officer shall note on the back of each warrant presented the date of such presentation and the date of such payment. Every such warrant shall be paid upon presentation if there is sufficient money in the fund upon which it is drawn to pay the same; if not, it shall be registered as provided by law.
