§ 2.16.040. Removal of officers and members

  • Any elected officer or member of the department shall be removed by a majority vote of the membership for the following reasons:

    A. Not taking required training;

    B. Not complying with the guidelines as set by the department personnel policies and general operating guidelines;

    C. Negligence or for conduct unbecoming of a Wall firefighter;

    D. Inappropriate behavior which includes; using illegal substance, unlawful behavior, lewd or indecent activity, quarrelsome conduct, abusive behavior, threats or acts of physical violence against other members, family members, or the public or possession of firearms while on station grounds or facilities.
