§ 2.16.030. Officers, terms, term limits and vacancies

The officers of the fire department shall be the chief, assistant chief I, assistant
chief II, treasurer and secretary, who shall be elected annually at the regular November
meeting and will take office on January 1st, with a term of one year. A vacancy in
any elected office shall be filled for the unexpired portion of the term at a special
election called for that purpose by the chief or assistant chief. Notice of the special
election shall be given in the same manner as notices of regular meetings for the
department.
