§ 16.04.010. Purpose

The purpose of this title shall be to provide reasonable rules, regulations and standards to guide land subdivision within the city in order to promote the public health, safety, convenience and general welfare of the municipality, the same to be administered to ensure the orderly growth, development, conservation, protection and proper use of land, and adequate provision for circulation, utilities and services.
