§ 12.24.040. Authority of police

Latest version.

The authority of the chief of police and other police officers of the city shall extend to and cover any property described as a public park and the police officers shall have the same jurisdiction to enforce the ordinances of the city within the park or within one mile of the outer boundary of the park for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community and of enforcing the ordinances and resolutions of the city relating thereto.
